Alteration specialist

We are hiring an experienced Alteration Specialist for our Alameda Dry Cleaners location in Burbank / the Media District area. You’ll handle alterations and repairs, take accurate measurements, and finish work cleanly and on time.

What you’ll do

  • Alter and repair garments: hemming, resizing, seam work, zipper repair/replacement, basic fixes
  • Take measurements and help customers choose the right adjustment
  • Mark and pin garments properly, then finish with clean, durable stitching
  • Keep work moving and meet deadlines
  • Inspect finished work before it goes out (fit, stitching, overall look)
  • Keep your workspace organized and tools in good condition

What we’re looking for

  • Proven tailoring/alterations experience
  • Strong sewing skills and clean finishing
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Basic English communication (Spanish is a plus)
